China Tourism Facts & Figures in 2017

As everyone knows, China is a big country, and also a big tourist country. There are several reasons for this: more convenient visa policies, a year-on-year growth of the tourism activities and the attraction of the “One Belt One Road” program.  Besides, China is a safe county with diverse scenic areas, a unique culture, and delicious foods. And the growth of the economy. On August 18, the national tourism administration released the tourism statisticsreport for the  first half of 2017. According to the report, the number of domestic tourists in the first half of 2017 was 25.37 billion, with a growth of 13.5% in the same period last year. The number of inbound tourists was 69.5 million, it increased 2.4 percent over the previous year. The number of outbound  tourists was 62.03 million and increased 5.1 percent over the previous year.
