As everyone knows, China is a big country, and also a big tourist country.

According to the report, the number of domestic tourists in the first half of 2017 was 25.37 billion,
with a growth of 13.5% in the same period last year.
The number of inbound tourists was 69.5 million, it increased 2.4 percent over the previous year.
The number of outbound tourists was 62.03 million and increased 5.1 percent over the previous year.

Inbound tourism has grown steadily.
In the first half of 2017, the number of inbound tourists reached 69.5 million, an increase of 2.4 percent over the same period a year ago, including 14.25 million foreigners, increasing 5.8 percent. International tourism revenue was $60.1 billion,4.3 percent up over a year earlier.

Third, outbound tourism steadily increased
In the first half of 2017, the number of Chinese citizens traveling abroad reached 62.03 million, 5.1% increased over the same period of last year.
One important reason for the growth is that the number of outbound tourism destinations included in the Chinese passport has greatly increased to 153 countries/regions. Among them, 65 countries/regions have provided convenient visa policies to Chinese tourists by July 11, 2017.
Notably, the Chinese outbound tourism market still has great potential, since 90% of Chinese citizens still have not applied for passports for outbound tours.
