子曰：“学而时习之，不亦说乎？有朋自远方来，不亦乐乎？人不知而不愠，不亦君子乎？”
The Master said, To learn and at due times to repeat what one has learned, is that not after all a pleasure? That friends should come to one from afar, is this not after all delightful? To remain unsoured even though one’s merits are unrecognized by others, it that not after all what is expected of a gentleman?
子曰：“学而不思则罔，思而不学则殆。”
The Master said,’He who learns but does not think, is lost’ He who thiks but does not learn is in great danger.
子曰：“三人行，必有我师焉，择其善者而从之，其不善者而改之。”
The Master said,Even when walking in a party of no more than three I can always be certain of learning from those I am with.There will be good qualities that I Can select for imitation and bad ones that will teach me what requires correction in myself
子曰：“君子和而不同，小人同而不和。”
The Master said, The true gentleman is conciliatory but not accommodating. Common people are accommodating but not conciliatory.
子曰：“君子坦荡荡，小人长戚戚。”
The Master said, A true gentleman is calm and at ease; the Small Man is fretful and ill at ease.
