Chinese Pictophonetic Characters(2)| 形声字 2

上下结构的形声字有两种，一种是“上形下声”，也就是形旁在上边，声旁在下边。例如：

There are two types of pictophonetic characters which have a top-bottom structure. One has the semantic component on the top and phonetic component at the bottom. For example:

汉字（character）    发音（Pronounciation）        声旁（Phonetic Component）       形旁（Semantic Component）

爸                                 bà                                                  巴 bā                                                     父

苹                                 píng                                              平  píng                                                 艹

另一种是“下形上声”，也就是声旁在上边，形旁在下边。例如：

The order has the phonetic component on the top and sematic component at the bottom. For example:

汉字（character）    发音（Pronounciation）        声旁（Phonetic Component）       形旁（Semantic Component）

想                                   xiǎng                                        相  xiāng                                              心

努                                   nǔ                                             奴 nú                                                    力
