While, on the other hand, symbolizes sorrow and death besides cleanness and purity.

要是你看到有人家里到处是白色的花和布时，这说明他们家有“白事”，家里一定是有人去世了。
When white flowers and cloths are seen all over a house, it means the “white event(funeral)” is going on in the house, where someone must have died.
