Zuckerberg wishes world a happy Lunar New Year in Chinese

Zuckerberg posted a video to Facebook on Feb. 7th in which, speaking in Mandarin, he wished everyone a happy new year. His wife, pediatrician and philanthropist Priscilla Chan, and their newborn daughter, Max, also appeared in the video.

扎克伯格7日在"脸书"网站上贴出一段视频，用汉语祝大家春节快乐。他的妻子、儿科医生兼慈善家普丽西拉·陈以及他们刚出生的女儿马克斯也出现在视频中。

In the minute-and-a-half clip, Zuckerberg announced that Max now has a Chinese name, Chen Mingyu, and that he likes roast duck.

在这段一分半钟的视频中，扎克伯格宣布马克斯有了中文名，叫陈明宇。扎克伯格还表示自己喜欢吃烤鸭。

The video is the latest in a string of events where Zuckerberg has spoken Chinese in front of an audience. In October he gave a 20-minute speech in Mandarin during a visit to Tsinghua University in Beijing. He started learning Chinese in 2010.

这是扎克伯格最新一次公开说汉语。2015年10月，他在访问北京的清华大学时用汉语做了20分钟演讲。他2010年开始学中文。

To celebrate the new year, members of our family gathered to enjoy a reunion dinner last night. This is also a meaningful holiday for Max because we have chosen her Chinese name. Her name is Chen Mingyu. "Chen" is after her mother's family name, and "Mingyu" represents "our hope for a brighter tomorrow for the world.

为了庆祝新年，我们全家人在一起吃了团圆饭。这个新年，对Max也是很有意义的，因为我们为她取了中文名字，她叫陈明宇，陈是妈妈的姓，明是明天的明，宇是宇宙的宇。明宇是代表希望世界的未来更美好。
