Will you go on a blind date? In Chinese, 相亲 (xiàng qīn) means a social engagement between a single man and a single woman who have not previously met. Meant to create a marriage, it's usually arranged by a mutual acquaintance or a professional matchmaker. Both participants want to seek love and see whether the man/woman is a good match. If they feel comfortable, they will go further. If not, their first date will be the last one for them.
