3 Chinese slang terms help you complain like a native

1. 活久见 (huó jiǔ jiàn) You live and learn 

wǒ bù zhī dào tā men zhī jiān yǒu guān xì 

我不知道他们之间有关系。

I had no idea they were related. 

hǎo ba, huó jiǔ jiàn

好吧,活久见~ 

Oh well, you live and learn

 

2. 无语 (wú yǔ) Speechless 

 

nǐ chě de nà xiē zhēn xīn ràng wǒ wú yǔ le

你扯的那些真心让我无语了。

Your story left me speechless.

3. 也是醉了 (yě shì zuì le) Of all things

jiāo liàn jìng rán ràng zú qiú duì suǒ yǒu chéng yuán qù shàng bā lěi kè, zhēn shì zuì le 

教练竟然让足球队所有成员去上芭蕾课,真是醉了……

The coach is making the entire football team take, of all things, ballet classes.
