Jim Parsons to play BuzzFeed editor in “Brother Orange”

Warner Bros. is working with BuzzFeed Motion Pictures to tell the true story of the internet phenomenon.

The Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons is set to topline Brother Orange, Warner Bros. and BuzzFeed Motion Pictures' big-screen telling of the internet phenomenon, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. 

据《好莱坞记者报》获悉，吉姆•帕森斯将在电影《橘子哥》中担任主演，该片由华纳兄弟和BuzzFeed影业联合推出，讲述了这个真实的互联网事件。

Parsons will play BuzzFeed editor Matt Stopera, who in 2014 had his iPhone stolen. Unbeknownst to him, the cellphone made its way to China and, a year later, random pictures began appearing on his photo stream, including a number of pictures of a serious-looking man in front of an orange tree. 

帕森斯将饰演BuzzFeed的编辑马特•斯托佩拉。2014年，斯托佩拉的iPhone手机被盗。他不知道的是这部手机已经漂流到中国。一年后，斯托佩拉的iCloud照片流里开始出现一些乱七八糟的照片，其中一些是一个神情严肃的男子站在一颗橘子树前。

The editor did a series of stories about the incident, and the story went viral in China, exploding on social platform Weibo with more than 20 million views in 24 hours and over 100 million total shares. There, the online community dubbed the man Li Hongjun ("Brother Orange") and helped Stopera track him down. Stopera eventually sought out Hongjun in China, with both becoming overnight celebrities. Back in the US, the two appeared on Ellen. 

斯托佩拉对事件做了系列报道，而这个故事在中国迅速走红，微博24小时内的浏览量超过2千万，分享总数超过1亿次。这名男子叫李宏君，网友们戏称他为橘子哥。在网友帮助下，斯托佩拉最终在中国找到了橘子哥，而两人因此一夜成名。橘子哥跟斯托佩拉回到美国，登上了《艾伦秀》。

The movie's story follows an unlikely, accidental friendship that transcends cultural divides.

Stopera is executive producing Brother Orange alongside Broad City co-creator Ilana Glazer (up until recently, the two were roommates), Ellen DeGeneres and Jeff Kleeman. 

斯托佩拉和《大城小妞》的编剧之一伊拉纳•格雷泽（目前，两人是室友）以及艾伦•德杰尼勒斯、杰夫•卡里曼共同创作这部电影。

Parsons is now in his 10th (10th!!!) season on CBS' Big Bang Theory, playing lovable geek Sheldon, a role that has netted him four Emmy wins. His movie appearances have been on the rare side, but he will be seen in the upcoming period race drama Hidden Figures with Octavia Spencer and Kevin Costner. 

帕森斯现正在出演CBS《生活大爆炸》第十季（第十季了！！！），他凭借剧中的可爱怪才谢耳朵一角四次获得艾美奖。帕森斯很少在大荧幕上亮相，不过接下来他将和奥克塔维亚•斯宾塞、凯文•科斯特纳搭档参演时代剧《隐藏数字》。
