āi ， zhè shì shuí jiā de xiǎo ɡōnɡ jǔ ， zhè me cū lǔ ， hēnɡ ， nǎ lǐ xiànɡ ɡè nǚ shēnɡ mɑ ！ 

哎，这是谁家的小公举，这么粗鲁，哼，哪里像个女生嘛？！

Well, What kind of 小公举 is it? So rude! You sure that she is a girl, really?!

Nǐ yǐ wéi " xiǎo ɡōnɡ jǔ " jiù yí dìnɡ shì nǚ shēnɡ ā ？ — — āi ， tiān zhēn ā 。 

你以为"小公举"就一定是女生啊？——唉，天真啊。

Thought "小公举" was a female? You are wrong. 

" Xiǎo gōng jǔ "，qí shí jiù shì " xiǎo gōng zhǔ — — little princess"，zhè shì mó fǎng yīng ér kǒu chǐ bù qīng de shuō fǎ，zhè yàng de fā yīn ràng zhè gè cí xiàng xiǎo baby yí yàng kě ài。
"小公举"，其实就是"小公主——little princess"，这是模仿婴儿口齿不清的说法，这样发音就让这个词儿变得像小baby一样可爱了。

“小公举”is in fact “小公主” or “little princess” in English. It is an imitation of a baby’s inarticulate pronunciation, which is as lovely as the baby itself.

“Gōng zhǔ”běn lái shì nǚ shēng，kě hòu lái jū rán fā zhǎn chéng wǎng yǒu men duì yì xiē nán xìng de chēng hū，zhè xiē nán shēng zuì dà de tè diǎn jiù shì yōng yǒu yì kē shào nǚ xīn，xiàng xiǎo nǚ hái yí yàng ài zì jǐ。Tā men zuò de yì xiē shì qíng、biǎo dá de yì xiē guān diǎn dōu dài yǒu xiǎo nǚ shēng de tè diǎn， dàn què bú shì“ niáng niáng qiāng ” 。

“公主”本来是女生，可后来呀，居然发展成网友们对一些男性的称呼，这些男生最大的特点就是拥有一颗少 女 心，像小女孩儿一样爱自己。他们做的一些事情呀、表达的一些观点啊，都带有小女生的特点，但却不是“娘 娘 腔”。

“公主” should surely be a female. However, Chinese netizens have used it to refer to some males, who are strikingly characterized by their “girlish mind” and who love themselves as girls do. What they do and what they think are sometimes girlish, although not sissy.   

Dàn shì zuò wéi yí gè nán shēng，zěn me néng gòu rěn shòu bié rén jiào zì jǐ “xiǎo gōng jǔ”ne？Zhè yì diǎn dōu bú kù！Suó yǐ, yào ràng guǎng dà yǒu “ gōng zhǔ xīn ” de nán shēng jiē shòu zhè gè chēng hū，dāng rán hái xū yào yí gè kāi shǐ：

但是作为一个男生，怎么能够忍受别人叫自己“小公举”呢？这一点都不酷！所以，要让广大有“公主心”的男生接受这个称呼，当然还需要一个开始：
