Musical is a form of theatrical performance that combines music, songs, dance and stunts. Since its Broadway debut in 1997, The Lion King has been translated into eight languages, including Japanese, Portuguese and Mandarin. There are other elements added to enhance the show for China: different regional dialects; Chinese pop songs; and a new character, the Monkey Master.
