Ways to describe “逗” other than “funny”

In English, one can use slang terms to describe something that causes laughter or amusement, other than the word "funny". In Chinese, we use the counterpart — "逗". 


1. Hoot 


-I really enjoyed that comedy show on TV last night.

我特别喜欢昨天电视里的喜剧真人秀。


-So did I. It was so funny! What a hoot!

我也是,特别逗,太有趣了。


2. Rich 


-She says we're working too slowly.

她说我们干活太慢。


-Oh, that's rich. She's the one who keeps delaying things with all her meetings.

呵,真逗了还,她自己才是那个用各种会耽误干活的人。


3. Priceless (extremely funny)


The look on his face was priceless.

他那表情太逗了。


4. Droll (wierd and funny)


The way of his talking is very droll.

他讲话的方式可真逗。


5. Witty (humorous and funny)

She is a witty talker.

她说话很风趣,蛮逗的。
