Dāng nǐ zǒu zài zhōngguó de jiē shàng ,dàochù néng kàn dào gāolóu dàshà 。

当你走在中国的街上,到处能看到高楼大厦。

The Chinese streets are lined with high-rise buildings nowadays. 



Chú le nàxiē píngfán de jiànzhù zhīwài ,zhōngguó yě cháng cháng yǒu zàoxíng dútè de jiànzhù ,jīntiān jiù ràng wǒ dài nǐ lái kàn kan nàxiē qíguài de gāolóu 。

除了那平凡的建筑之外,中国也常常有造型独特的建筑,今天就让我带你来看看那些奇怪的高楼。

Besides the regular ones, grotesque ones are frequently seen as well. Today, let’s have a look at these unique buildings in China.




1. 北京央视“大裤衩” Běijīng yāng shì “dà kùchǎ ”

Big-Pants Building in Beijing


Zhè shì zhōngguó zhōngyāng diànshìtái de dàlóu ,wèi yú shǒudū Běijīng 。

这是中国中央电视台的大楼,位于首都北京。

The Big-Pants building is the CCTV Headquarters in Beijing. 



Yóuyú tā de zàoxíng jiù xiàng shì kùzi yī yàng ,suǒyǐ rén men gěi tā qǐ le gè yǒuqù de míngzì ,jiào zuò “dà kùchǎ ”。

由于它的造型就像是裤子一样,所以人们给它起了个有趣的名字,叫做“大裤衩”。

Since it looks like a pair of pants, it has been given a funny name “big pants”.




2. 苏州“秋裤楼” Sūzhōu “qiūkù lóu ”

Long Johns Building in Suzhou


Zhè shì Sūzhōu de “dōngfāng zhī mén ”,yīgòng 69céng ,gāo 302mǐ 。

这是苏州的“东方之门”,一共69层,高302米。

It is the “Oriental Gate” of Suzhou, 69-storyed and 302m high. 



Tā de zàoxíng jiù xiàng shì rénmen dōngtiān chuān de qiūkù yī yàng ,suǒyǐ yòu bèi chēng wéi “qiūkù lóu ”。

它的造型就像是人们冬天穿的秋裤一样,所以又被称为“秋裤楼”。

Because of its shape, it is called the “Long Johns Building”.



3. 重庆“方便面桶楼” Chóngqìng “fāngbiànmiàn tǒng lóu ”

Instant Noodle Bottle Building in Chongqing


Zhè shì wèiyú Chóngqìng de yī dòng gāolóu ,kàn qǐ lái yǒu diǎn xiàng bǐ sà xié tǎ 。

这是位于重庆的一栋高楼,看起来有点像比萨斜塔。

The building in Chongqing looks sort of like the Leaning Tower of Pisa. 



Dànshì rénmen rènwéi ,tā gèng xiàng shì sāngè fāngbiànmiàn tǒng dié zài yīqǐ ,suǒyǐ bèi chēng wéi “fāngbiànmiàn tǒng lóu ”

但是人们认为,它更像是三个方便面桶叠在一起,所以被称为“方便面桶楼”。

However, it’s believed that it looks more like three instant noodle bottles piling up, and is thus called the “Instant Noodle Bottle Building”.



4. 北京“排烟管” Běijīng páiyān guǎn

Exhaust Pipe Building in Beijing


Zhè dòng gāolóu wèiyú shǒudū Běijīng ,gāo 80mǐ ,měi céng de miànjī shì 1740píngfāngmǐ 。

这栋高楼位于首都北京,高80米,每层的面积是1740平方米。

The 80m-high building located in Beijing boasts an area of 1,740m2 on each floor.



Zhè dòng lóu bújǐn xiàng páiyān guǎn ,hái yǒu rén rènwéi tā gèng xiàng yī luò méi dié hǎo de pánzi 。

这栋楼不仅像排烟管,还有人认为它更像一摞没叠好的盘子。

It looks likes an exhaust pipe, but some people believe that it is more like a bad pile of plates.



5. 上海“靴子楼” Shànghǎi “xuēzi lóu”

Zhè shì wèiyú Shànghǎi Hóngqiáo fùjìn de LV dàshà ,cóng yuǎnchù kàn guò qù jiù xiàng yī shuāng xuēzi 。

这是位于上海虹桥附近的LV大厦,从远处看过去就像一双靴子。

The LV commercial center near Hongqiao in Shanghai looks like a boot from a distance. 



Yīnwéi shì LV de dàshà ,suǒyǐ shèjìshī bǎ dàlóu shèjì chéng “L”de zàoxíng ,dànshì kàn shàng qù què gèng xiàng xuēzi 。

因为是LV的大厦,所以设计师把大楼设计成“L”的造型,但是看上去却更像靴子。


Since it is a building of LV, it has been designed to present the L-shape, but turns out to be more like a boot.

 



6. 厦门“拧麻花”大楼 Xiàmén “nǐng máhuā ” dàlóu

Fried Dough Twist Building in Xiamen


Zhè shì wèiyú Xiàmén de yī dòng gāolóu ,dàlóu de yàngzi jiù xiàng shì máhuā yī yàng 。

这是位于厦门的一栋高楼,大楼的样子就像是麻花一样。

It’s a building in Xiamen, looking like a fried dough twist. 



Bǐ qǐ Běijīng de nàgè méi dié hǎo de pánzi ,zhè gè “nǐng máhuā ”dàlóu de zàoxíng gèng jiā kuāzhāng 。

比起北京的那个没叠好的盘子,这个“拧麻花” 大楼的造型更加夸张。

Compared with the ‘Exhaust Pipe Building” in Beijing, it seems to be more sensational.
